CRACKED NAILS EFFECT

Today I played with the funny nail varnish that lovely sister of my boyfriend gave me as a gift. I never seen this effect before. When I started to paint my nails with it, it looked like an ordinary one, but later on, very quickly it started to crack and made this cute effect! I absolutely love it! 

On the package they advise to put it on top of another color of ordinary nail varnish but I didn't have significantly different color around, so I did only with this one and it looks quite cool :-) May be next time I'll try with another color...

(This nail varnish is called Barry-M Nail Paint - Pink Fizz.)

OLYMPIC SAILING COMPETITION AND ROSES

I continue my exploration of the south of England coast together with my boyfriend. This time we went by car to see Weymouth and Portland. This year Weymouth Bay and Portland Harbour will be the venue for the Olympic and Paralympic Sailing competitions. So we saw all the preparations that are  already going on there. The venue comprises the Weymouth and Portland National Sailing Academy (WPNSA) and the adjoining commercial marina. The views of course are splendid as you can imagine. 

My outfit is the combination of comfortable clothes with a touch of elegance. I got this top recently in England and I absolutely love it's delicate texture made of roses. I still am choosing 'practical' shoes for walking distances and climbing hills.

FAIRYTALE PLACE

Fairytale place in the south of England called The Hive Café at Burton Bradstock fascinated me by amazing views and beautiful atmosphere. People come here with family and friends to enjoy the seacoast views and some quality time in the lovely café. 

I went there in a great company of the family of my boyfriend and of course, one of my best friends, Tyson :)

I'm wearing comfortable wedges for the only reason - walking long distances and climbing the hills is not easy wearing sharp high heels. 

I got this bright dress in England, paired with some golden jewelry, Versace for H&M belt and my favorite sunnies by Tom Ford, it made very comfortable, practical and colorful outfit :)

AQUAMARINE TOUCH

I love surfing through internet and check fashion magazines and different international style and beauty blogs to get inspiration. It's so interesting and enriching to see how different we all are (style bloggers)  and how greatly we inspire each other. While doing some online traveling I decided to make this home post and also I want to share with you my little makeup tip that I often use...

This trick is very simple, but useful, and consists in making an eyeliner from any eyeshadow color that you have. You need simply to dip a liner brush into water (ensure it’s damp not wet) before mixing it with the eyeshadow colour of your choice, and then, use it as an eyeliner  - the effect is…brilliant!

In this post I used this vivid blue that goes perfectly with the bight element of my new dress :).

You can play and explore, to find out which color suits your eyes the most...

I'm so happy with this sunshine and this wonderful weather...

With the coming of the spring season everything around starts to wake up, the flowers, the trees, the birds and of course the colors...Inspired by current environment (as I often do :), I'm wearing bright and happy tones...

Vivid green trousers by Diesel that I found in Exeter look harmoniously with this top of intense blue color...Black can be paired with a lot of different colors and can fit perfectly inside almost any colorful ensemble...

Happy thursday everyone! 

I went to Exeter again with my boyfriend and we made some nice shopping there...I'm still amazed how everything is different here in England than in Belgium...but of course I could still find some pieces that suit my style...

Knowing my love for colors, I couldn't resist again! This lovely bright pink dress looks so lovely paired with Versace for H&M belt and my Valentino bag. This cute necklace is from Topshop. And of course the  shoes...they are by Guess...this nude color can suit almost any outfit!

MEN'S BEST FRIEND AND ZEBRA MOTIFS

 It's very rarely that I meet this kind of dogs. He is an old English gentleman, very kind, polite and clever, incredibly cultured and well mannered :) It's an absolute pleasure to be around Tyson.

At night, while he is sleeping, he is making this incredible snoring noise, which I find very relaxing :)

On this sunny day he decided to do the photoshoot together with me :)

My outfit of the day is very summery, because the weather is getting better and better every day.

Those shoes that I found in Jane Norman shop fit perfectly to my zebra bag. Paired with this 'Verso' dress, some lovely accessories and my new hairstyle, I look like a trendy 'country girl' :)

RED PHOTOSHOOT

Wow, I found some pictures of an old photoshoot that I made with a friend around a year or two ago when I still had my short bob :) Since then I was trying to grow my hair very intensely, still waiting till they grow long :)

I thought it was cool idea to share those pictures with you. It was made in one of Brussels parks, and my outfit there is very casual and comfy...The red color really stands out on the background of green grass...

LYME REGIS SCENERY

Today's post is very different from others. I decided to show you some sceneries of the place I'm currently visiting - Lyme Regis. This is where my English boyfriend comes from. 

Lyme Regis has this breathtaking scenery of blue sea and mystique cliffs, making it an amazing resort for all seasons. Seems like in the summer the town is completely filled with tourists who return year after year to relive memorable holidays and enjoy a varied programme of different events and activities, including art and music festivals. Lyme Regis is believed to be the smallest town in the country to have its own cinema and theatre.

 The Cobb and harbour are iconic features of this place, set against blue cliffs yielding fossilised evidence of life on earth millions of years ago. Situated at the heart of the Jurassic Coast, Lyme Regis is a major centre for fossil collecting, recognised and acclaimed worldwide (they sell dinosaurs in the shop :). It's a great place to discover a lot that you didn’t know about the UK’s heritage. So I'm happy to visit, discover and show you the glimpse this truly beautiful town.

I was wearing quite warm and casual clothes, because it was chilly outside...

In England I discovered a lot of new shops that don't exist in Brussels. One of them is Topshop where I found this wonderful jewelry, to be more precise, the necklace and earrings. 

The ring and bracelet I got a while ago in Brussels and all of it seem to fit perfectly together....

I love to play with accessories and improvise with jewelry, it adds instant touch of glamour and can make a big difference in the outfit all together. 

Another great accessory, (and on my opinion, part of the outfit) is lipstick. In this photo shoot I used the  bright one by MAC called Amplified - Impassione' A70.

This dress is a gift from great sister of my boyfriend Zoe. She is so sweet to make me a present like this! I'm very thankful! Paired with lovely red jacket, pink bag and of course high heels this outfit looks perfect for an everyday casual chic! :)

Seems like winter is already behind and I can finally wear dresses outside :)
Being a lover of lace and elegance I was delighted to find this lovely dress in one of shops in Exeter. My great boyfriend took me for some nice shopping there and I could notice that shops in England are very different from Brussels' ones. But it's always interesting to discover new things...

SUNDAY IN THE COUNTRYSIDE

Sunday in the countryside...what can be more beautiful, peaceful and relaxing! As you can see, I met a new friend here as well :). This dog is called Tyson, he is so adorable and kind, he is about 16 years old which is quite amazing for a dog! And seems like he likes to pose for photographs too ;)

My todays outfit is very casual and comfortable, but the sequin top and high heels add a touch of glamour to my look, which never hurts :)

Happy Friday everyone! :-)

I'm jumping in the air and learning to fly again...:)

Today's look is a combination of casual chic with some elegant and delicate details...

I love this tiny golden skirt which I found in Zara recently. It has pockets in front and looks so cute! 

The bracelet that I'm wearing is inspired by the work of one of my favorite painters - Gustav Klimt. An element of his painting 'Adele Bloch-Bauer I' is decorating this accessory.

And of course I love the red touch. This color can't go unnoticed. And I can feel the energy of it, I always feel kind of empowered when I wear it.

This look would be very convenient for a barbecue with friends or a friday brunch...

Huge black pants by Ralph Lauren is one of my very outstanding pieces of clothes which is very funny to wear...when I walk with them on, I feel like I'm wearing a big skirt or a long dress... 

Pictures are made in Brussels, because I didn't take those trousers to the country side where I am currently staying, I think I already quite 'shocked' the local population with my extravagance. ;)

Pink, black and the zebra touch make it well together...

Surrounded by flowers, sounds of birds and beautiful nature, I'm staying in a small town called Lyme Regis located in the South of England, spending time with great family of my boyfriend and visiting around...Beautiful port with views of the sea, small shops selling all kinds of different stuff, art galleries, local cafés. In shops I'm seeing a lot their speciality - fossils, which are traces of animals (also known as zoolites), plants, and other organisms from the remote past, which is quite amazing to discover. 

Today I'm wearing leopard outfit, brown tonalities, close to nature's shades.

I was overwhelmed by those majestic views of English countryside! Colors are so bright and inspiring! I couldn't help but make pictures on the top of one of the hills :)

I'm wearing the bight green dress that you already saw once made by my mum, it melts quite nicely with the green of the trees and grass...

So, I can't put into words how beautiful it is here in England...let pictures talk for themselves...

Here are some pictures from Brussels that I made some days ago before coming to England...I love the touch of pink color on my earrings, this makes the whole difference to this look! Leopard is often associated with brownish tones, but this 'leopardish' outfit is quite exceptional - black and white.
