Mademoiselle Chanel Style OOTD

Hello Everyone! How is your day? :)

After watching the movie about Coco Chanel yesterday, I was absolutely inspired to dress up with similar style. The tweed jacket became a real fashion 'must have' thanks to this legendary woman...and it actually all started with a little black jacket!...

Talented Carl Lagerfeld who took over the Chanel house continued the story. In order to celebrate Chanel's iconic black tweed jacket, the designer made an exhibition which showcases 120 ways the jacket was reinterpreted and reimagined in a series of black-and-white photographs taken by Karl Lagerfeld. He said : "The interesting thing is that one simple thing, a little jacket with four pockets, you can play so much and create 120 different types. It's play time with an item that is timeless."

Seems like Chanel intended to create some clothes that will be worn forever. She even said : "Fashion passes, style remains".

"Fashion has become a joke," Chanel said. "The designers have forgotten that there are women inside the dresses. Most women dress for men and want to be admired. But they must also be able to move, to get into a car without bursting their seams! Clothes must have a natural shape."

When Coco Chanel created the tweed jacket, she was inspired to create not only a pleasing to eyes item, but also something very comfortable and elegant at the same time...

Now other brands started to create tweed jackets as well, but it all started with a dream which Chanel accomplished - she created a timeless piece of clothes which goes beyond fashion.

Tweed jacket is so versatile! You can wear it with jeans, little black dress, pencil skirt or even denim shorts and it will always look elegant and classy.

I hope you have a beautiful day ;) Talk soon :) xo's
