I hope you're having a great weekend so far ;)

Today I'm wearing classic and elegant outfit with a 'pencil' skirt...

Here are some facts:

A pencil skirt is a straight, slim-fitting skirt and it's named 'pencil' because of it's shape. 

This type of modern and elegant skirt was first introduced by Christian Dior in the late 40s and it became instantly very popular, especially in the office working environment, because it looks elegant, classy and fashionable in the same time.

Pencil skirt has smaller sister - a mini skirt, which was created by cutting pencil skirt shorter (it appeared in 60's).

Now days pencil skirt is still popular and going strong...:) Girls/women love to wear it in everyday life and celebrities also adore it...

Actually, my dress pretended to be a pencil skirt here :) But anyway, it looks exactly like it :D

I paired my outfit with some lovely jewelry and decided to make a fun 'orange-pink' color block by combining two bright tones of jacket and shoes.

Long live the pencil skirt! :D
